ABSTRACT:
Novel benzodioxole derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy-lower alkyl group, phenyl group or pyridyl group, R.sup.2 is hydrogen atom or a halogen atom and R.sup.3 is hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and a salt thereof are disclosed.
Said derivative (I) and a salt thereof have potent diuretic, saluretic and uricosuric activities.
