ABSTRACT:
A bending machine according to the present invention include: a first fixture member22for holding one end portion of a long work20; a second fixture member24for holding the other end portion of the work20; a rack30mounted on the first fixture member22so as to extend in longitudinal directions of the first fixture member22; a roll-shaped bending die21, mounted on the second fixture member24, for bending the work along the outer peripheral surface of the second fixture member; a pinion gear26which is coaxially connected to the bending die21via a shaft28and which engages the rack30; and a connecting member27for connecting the first fixture member22to the second fixture member24via the shaft28in a relatively rotatable state so that the pinion gear26is movable along the rack30while engaging the rack30.
