ABSTRACT:
In a belt transmission apparatus utilized between an engine of a motorcar and an auxiliary apparatus thereof, a pulley groove angle .theta. of V-belt pulleys is set in the range of 45.degree. to 60.degree., where slip of the belt easily occurs. A belt angle .alpha. between both sidefaces of the V-belt is set in the range determined by the inequality .theta.-7.ltoreq..alpha..ltoreq..theta. with respect to the pulley groove angle .theta..
