One end of the wheel hub is non-rotatably and detachably connected to the inner joint member of the universal joint and the other end of the wheel hub has a flange to which a wheel can be attached. A flexible boot encloses the universal joint and extends over the bending range of the outer and inner joint members. The boot can be mounted so as to be rotatable or stationary.
