ABSTRACT:
A battlefield debris clearing apparatus for attachment to a vehicle comprising a horizontal beam for lateral attachment to a vehicle; a plurality of baskets pivotally attached to the beam, each basket having an opening to lift and collect battlefield debris from the ground surface; and a mechanism for the rotation of the baskets about an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the beam. Apparatus is provided for the delivery of a high velocity gas stream to the ground surface proximate the baskets. A magnetic sensor array positioned behind the baskets detects objects deeply buried below the ground surface.
