ABSTRACT:
A battery pack includes nonaqueous electrolyte batteries each comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode contains a lithium-transition metal oxide having a layered crystal structure. The negative electrode contains a lithium-titanium composite oxide having a spinel structure. And the positive electrodes and the negative electrodes satisfy the formula (1) given below:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?1.02≦X≦2  (1)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where X is a ratio of an available electric capacity of each of the negative electrodes at 25° C. to an available electric capacity of each of the positive electrodes at 25° C.
