ABSTRACT:
A battery charger having a switching regulator is disclosed; an output of switching regulator is temporarily interrupted and the voltage of the battery is measured for detecting a completion of charge when the switching regulator is interrupted. The voltage of the battery can be measured accurately without switching noise and erroneous operation can be prevented.
