ABSTRACT:
The battery charger is provided with temperature detection sections12to contact and detect the temperature of AA batteries2A and AAA batteries2B loaded in a battery pocket3, and a charging circuit to detect battery temperature and control battery2charging. The battery charger is provided with AA battery2A holders11, which are circular openings13in the case1, and AAA battery2B holders11, which are flexible arches14. An AAA battery2B is inserted into a flexible arch14and retained in a fixed position in the battery pocket3. An AA battery2A is not inserted into a flexible arch14, but rather moves the flexible arch14causing it to incline, and is inserted into a circular opening13for retention in a fixed position in the battery pocket3. The battery charger charges batteries2set in fixed positions in the battery pocket3while detecting battery2temperature via the temperature detection sections12.
