ABSTRACT:
Novel batteries containing single-ion conducting polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are provided. The polymers are polysiloxanes substituted with fluorinated poly(alkylene oxide) side chains having associated ionic species. The polymers have the following structure ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and n are as defined herein.
