ABSTRACT:
A seat for persons using the cross-legged "lotus" sitting position, characterized by a substantially horseshoe-shaped support with top and bottom surfaces and with a broad central portion for supporting the buttocks, and comprised of a pair of bilaterally symetrical and divergent sections with piers extending forwardly establishing a space therebetween to lower and to position both feet and folded lower legs with the buttocks raised for comfort; a unit to be used at floor level or raised by and/or incorporated in a chair or the like.
