ABSTRACT:
Basic 4-alkylaminoanthraquinone dyes which bear a non-water-solubilizing substituent in the 2-position and in which the alkyl side-chain in the .alpha.-position to the anthraquinoneamino group is branched, which are useful for the exhaustion dyeing, pad dyeing and printing of textiles which consist wholly or partly of a polyacrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymer fiber.
