ABSTRACT:
A base for reflection-photographic elements is disclosed which has a biaxially stretched film support, said film comprising polyester resin and titanium dioxide, wherein said film contains at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) or (II). ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a dialkylamino group or an aryl group, provided that R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may cooperate to form a ring. ##STR2## wherein A represents --CH.dbd.CH--, ##STR3## and R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a dialkylamino group or an aryl group, provided that R.sub.6 and R.sub.7, and R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each may cooperate to form a ring.
