A pneumatic cylinder is pivotally attached to the link members to move between an advanced position aligned with the machine chuck and a retracted position. A pusher head mounted on a cylinder rod of the cylinder can engage the workpiece when in advanced position. The cylinder rod and the head are advanced to advance the workpiece. Another workpiece can be loaded into the chuck when the cylinder is in retracted position.
