ABSTRACT:
A ball retrieval device, particularly for integration in a tennis racket, includes a rotatable spool with a longitudinally displaceable carriage arranged thereon. Through rotation of the spool, a rubber-elastic thread element can be wound up on the latter or unwound therefrom, the carriage providing a well-tuned process with maximum compactness of the turns. To this end, the surface of the spool is provided with a helical groove in which the thread element is laid.
