ABSTRACT:
An agricultural baler comprising a bale case and a plunger reciprocable in the bale case for, in use of the baler, forming crop material into bales and moving bales along the bale case towards the discharge end thereof for ultimate discharge therefrom. A pair of slides in the bale case are operable to engage a formed or partially formed bale in the bale case and move it therealong towards the discharge end thereof independently of the operation of the plunger.
Tines pivotally mounted on the slides are urged by springs into an operative position to engage bales in the bale case. The times may be retracted to an inoperative position.
