ABSTRACT:
The subject invention encompasses baked compositions, a therapeutically effective dose of SMOOTH TEXTURE METAMUCIL.RTM. and one or more conventional additives used in dough containing compositions. The present invention also encompasses methods for regulating bowel function and/or providing laxation and/or treating hypercholesterolemia and/or increasing fiber consumption in humans or lower animals comprising orally administering the baked compositions according to this invention.
