ABSTRACT:
The baffle (14) is fixed at a distance from the internal wall (12) facing a container (1) to be enamelled, for example a chemical reactor and is held separated from the internal wall (12) by way of at least one local connection (15). The baffle may be solid or hollow and in the latter case can be in fluid connection with the closed space (13) between the external wall (11) and the internal wall of the container at the local connection. The invention also relates to a container comprising one or several baffles of the type. The invention is of use in the chemical industry and in particular to the producers and users of baffles.
