A type II, proteinaceous, antigenic factor derived from a Group A streptococci which is a receptor for the Fc region of human Ig G3 and which exhibits a major diffuse protein band on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and which has a molecular weight of about 38,000 daltons.
