ABSTRACT:
A backlight unit for enhancing the luminance uniformity is provided. The backlight unit includes a plurality of fluorescent lamps arranged in a light-emitting surface, each of the plurality of fluorescent lamps having a bent structure; and at least one conic-shaped structures for reflecting an incident light, the conic-shaped structure being surrounded by the bent structure of at least two of the plurality of fluorescent lamps.
