ABSTRACT:
Cationic azo dyes useful for dyeing paper pulp and characterized by their outstanding affinity for paper pulp, both under waterleaf and sized dyeing conditions, are provided. The dyes have the structural formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, Q, X and n are specifically defined.
