ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to azo dyes of formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.2 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.3 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 cycloalkyl or phenyl, and the benzene rings I and II are unsubstituted or substituted.
The azo dyes are suitable for dyeing or printing synthetic polyamide materials, especially in conjunction with other dyes and, preferably, from short liquors. The azo dyes have good allround properties, in particular good affinity.
