ABSTRACT:
To provide an azo pigment excellent in coloristic characteristics such as tinctorial strength and hue and at the same time, excellent in the durability such as light fastness and ozone resistance, a pigment dispersion containing the azo pigment, a coloring composition, and an ink for inkjet recording. An azo pigment represented by the following formula (1), its tautomer, or a salt or hydrate thereof:(wherein R1, R2, R3, Y, Z and G each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; n represents and integer of 2 to 4; and the formula represents a dimer through R1, R2, R3, Y, Z or G when n is 2, represents a trimer through R1, R2, R3, Y, Z or G when n is 3, and represents a tetramer through R1, R2, R3, Y, Z or G when n is 4).
