ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula ##EQU1## where R is an ester forming radical, salt forming radical, --SCCl.sub.3 or Y--S.sub.x where x is an integer from 0 to 3 and Y is the radical in parentheses. The compounds accelerate vulcanization of natural and synthetic rubber and some have the property of inhibiting oxidation of rubber.
