ABSTRACT:
Stators12and13are disposed with required air gaps in an axial direction of a rotor11so as to face each other, a plurality of field bodies15or permanent magnets33are disposed in the rotor11, and a plurality of armature coils17and19are disposed in the stators12and13around the axis. At least one of the field bodies15or permanent magnets33and the armature coils17and19are formed from a superconductive material such that their magnetic flux directions are directed to the axial direction.
