ABSTRACT:
The living recombinant avian vaccine comprises, as a vector, an ILTV virus comprising and expressing at least one heterologous nucleotide sequence, this nucleotide sequence being inserted in the insertion locus defined between the nucleotides 1624 and 3606 at the SEQ ID NO: 5. The vaccine may in particular comprise a sequence coding for an antigen of an avian pathogenic agent selected among the group consisting of the Newcastle disease virus (NDV), the infections bursal virus (IBDV), the Marek disease virus (MDV), the infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), the chicken anaemia virus (CAV), thee chicken pneumovirosis virus, preferably under the control of a strong eukariotic promoter. A multivalent vaccine formula is also disclosed.
