ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a rolling system for aircraft, comprising telescopic landing gears which abut on the ground via wheels and which present a variable length as a function of the load applied thereto by said aircraft. According to the invention, this system comprises at least one jack assembly capable of outwardly pressing at least one rolling member with a constant force and said rolling member is placed in contact with the ground only after impact of the telescopic landing gears and when the length of said telescopic landing gears corresponds to a predetermined load threshold applied thereto, said threshold being less than the load corresponding to take-off.
