ABSTRACT:
A dual function trigger guard has hinged locking and pinned features to ele a firearm when being used in a first mode to be secure against accidental actuation of the trigger and when modified to provide an auxiliary extended trigger which can be efficiently converted to gloved rather than finger operation.
