An auxiliary-gas supplying apparatus A for combustion engine B according to the invention includes: an ozone generator3; an auxiliary gas generator8for generating an auxiliary gas containing ionized oxygen; and an intake auxiliary-gas supply path4for supplying the auxiliary gas to an intake member (intake manifold)1, the ozone generator, auxiliary gas generator and intake auxiliary-gas supply path disposed externally of the intake member (intake manifold)1communicated with a combustion chamber. Thus, the combustion engine may be increased in combustion efficiency.
