ABSTRACT:
A detachable enclosure unit for use at standard watthour meter sockets includes a central housing for carrying auxiliary equipment and an integral mounting extension with a snap-on retainer for adaptive mounting to both ring and ringless sockets. The retainer provides a removable circumferentially disposed flange surface equally accommodating the different types of meter sockets.
