ABSTRACT:
In an automotive headlamp10, a lens flange portion24is caused to extend from a circumferential edge23of a lens surface18formed into a configuration which follows the outline of an external surface19of a vehicle body toward a lamp housing11, a surface-roughening process is applied to a surface25of an end portion of the lens flange portion24to make irregular the surface25of the end portion, and a leg portion28is caused to extend from a location27which deviates from the surface25of the end portion in such a manner as to bypass the surface25of the end portion, so that the leg portion28fits in the lamp housing11.
