ABSTRACT:
The automobile pedal supporting structure includes a first bracket5, the front end of the first bracket5being fixed on a dash panel1, and the rear end of the first bracket5being fixed on a vehicle-side member8which is more rigid than the dash panel1so that the first bracket5can be removed from the vehicle-side member8, and a second bracket6, the front-end lower part of the second bracket6being pivotally attached to the first bracket5so that the second bracket6can swing, the rear-end upper part of the second bracket6being fixed on the vehicle-side member8so that the second bracket6can be removed from the vehicle-side member8, and an operation pedal4being pivotally attached to the second bracket6so that the operation pedal4can swing, in which the first bracket5and the second bracket6are placed to substantially overlap each other, the rear-end upper part of the second bracket6are fixed together with the first bracket5on the vehicle-side member8, and a turn promoting member12is provided, which is connected from the vehicle-side member8through the rear-end outside of the first bracket5to the upper part of the second bracket6and promotes a turn of the second bracket6toward the vehicle-lower side by a backward movement of the first bracket5toward the vehicle-rear side.
