ABSTRACT:
A guided artillery shell is provided with a set of tail fins which are std within the shell assembly prior to the firing of the shell and during barrel traversal, and are automatically deployed upon muzzle exit by a mechanism responsive to the change in pressure upon muzzle exit and centrifugal force.
