ABSTRACT:
An automatically deployable vehicle stabilization system comprising a pair of stability arms pivotally coupled to a vehicle frame. The stability arms are fixedly coupled to a pivot bar. A drive mechanism interconnecting the pivot arms with a steering column of the vehicle causes the stability arms to pivot into extended positions when the front vehicle tire is turned. The stability arms prevent the vehicle from overturning when in operation. When the front vehicle tire is returned to its normal position, the stability arms retract so they do not bump into low-profile objects in the path of the vehicle. Alternatively, the stability arms can be locked into extended positions, if desired.
