ABSTRACT:
A hanger taken from a strip of hangers is positioned on a fastening and cutting anvil (6) displaceable between a bottom position, in which it retracts below the level of the support plate (1) and a top position, in which it projects above the plate. A blade (17), the central part of which forms a bridge beneath which the strip of hangers passes, is fixed to the plate, in contact with the anvil.
