ABSTRACT:
An automatic transmission having seven gear speeds for forward driving is provided, in which a planetary gear P1of a first planetary gear set12and an outer planetary gear P2out of a second planetary gear set14are integrally coupled, a first rotational element M1is formed by a sun gear S1,a second rotational element M2is formed by carriers CA1,CA2coupled with each other, a third rotational element M3is formed by a ring gear R2,a fourth rotational element is formed by a ring gear R1, and a fifth rotational element M5is formed by a sun gear S2.The rotational elements M5,M3,M2are connectable to an input shaft16via clutches C1,C2,C3, respectively, and the rotational elements M3,M2,M1are connectable to a case20via brakes B1,B2,B3,respectively. The rotational element M4is integrally coupled with an output gear18.
