ABSTRACT:
A flywheel is provided with a detection wheel which is rotatable relative to the flywheel, and is also provided with a displacement member which is rotatable with the flywheel and is radially movable thereto. The detection wheel forms part of a drive system for a reel mount, and ceases its movement upon termination of tape rewind. The displacement member is provided with a pin which actuates a release lever to stop the operation of a tape recorder when the member moves radially in response to the detection wheel coming to a stop.
