ABSTRACT:
A valve assembly for automatically controlling the flow of a fluid comprises a casing having formed therein a first chamber, a second chamber normally communicating with the first chamber and a pressure chamber in constant fluid communication with the second chamber. Means in the form of a bellows or piston is disposed in the pressure chamber to operate a valve member such that communication between the first and second chambers is interrupted upon the increase of the fluid pressure in the latter beyond a normal level.
