ABSTRACT:
An aircraft automatic fault reporting system having a plurality of ARINC 429 low-speed data buses between the aircraft maintenance control panel and the aircraft communications addressing and reporting system provides two-way communication therebetween. Detected faults through an eight-digit fault code are by means of a transient logic circuit under certain conditions of the aircraft communications and addressing systems provided to maintenance personnel thereby eliminating flight crew use of FRM's.
