ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for cleaning the charge line of the transfer charger before copying process in an electrostatic apparatus. The cleaning apparatus comprises cleaning member, such as brush, light-blocking plate, driving motor, a pair of pulleys, wire, positon sensors and control member. Motor driving program is recorded on the the controller for applying power and cleaning the charge line automatically, whereby a dim or unclear image does not appear on copy sheets.
