ABSTRACT:
Austenitic iron base alloys containing nickel and with relatively high aluminum and chromium contents within ranges which are critical to the formation of an aluminum oxide protective film when the alloys are exposed to oxidizing environments at temperatures up to about 1700.degree. F. The alloys exhibit excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance.
