ABSTRACT:
A system10is provided which is receptive to selective tuning at particular frequencies. The system10includes a display device15, an audio synthesizer14, and a controller20. The controller20is in communication with the display device15and the audio synthesizer14. The controller20communicates with the audio synthesizer14when a malfunction is detected with respect to the display device15. In one embodiment, the audio synthesizer14produces an audible announcement of a frequency at which the system10is currently tuned.
