ABSTRACT:
As attractant for the potato moth (Phthorimaea operculella) the novel compound trans-4, cis-7,10-trideca-dienyl acetate (2) has been shown to be strongly active, both as such and, still more active, as a synergistic mixture with the known prior art compound trans-4, cis-7-trideca-dienyl acetate (1).
The preparation of the compound (2) is described hereinbelow.
