ABSTRACT:
An attachment clip10is provided to attach a heat shielding plate4to an under-panel2. The under-panel2has a bolt5projecting from a floor tunnel2a. The heat shielding plate4has a bolt hole4aformed to allow passage of a shank5aof the bolt5. The attachment clip10has a clip body11having an abutting part13for abutment on the heat shielding plate4. The abutting part13has a shank hole12for passage of the shank5aof the bolt5. The attachment clip10further includes six engagement claws10A–10F projecting from the inner periphery of the clip body11inwardly. The engagement claws10A–10F have respective engagement tips10a–10fformed to depart from the clip body11along the axial direction of the attachment chip10, providing a substantial cone-shaped configuration. The engagement claws10A–10F elastically engage with threads of the shank5awhile urging the heat shielding plate4toward the under-panel2along the axial direction of the bolt5.
