ABSTRACT:
A jig for hanging doors with preinstalled hinges on the stiles of cabinet carcases, wherein the hinge has a mounting plate which is to be placed on the front edge of the stile and fixed in the correct position on the stile. The jig has a body which can straddle the edge of the stile and be held in place by a cam action. It has at least one recess in an end of its portion straddling the stile, the width of the recess being at least equal to the width of the mounting plate and its depth substantially equal to the thickness of the mounting plate.
