ABSTRACT:
Compounds having the formula: ##SPC1##
Wherein R.sub.3 is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, R.sub.1 is chloro, bromo, or fluoro, and R.sub.2 is an alkoxy group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aryloxy group which may be substituted with at least one alkyl group or halogen group. These compounds are particularly suitable for the preparation of N-cyclopropyl-pyridyl carboxyl amide derivatives that are useful in the treatment of diseases of the nervous systems in humans and in animals.
