ABSTRACT:
The invention is directed to a variety of articles which include a sheet of microcellular foam material. Exemplary articles include release liner sheets, face stock, label stock, and the like. The cell density of the sheet of microcellular foam material lies in a range from about 10.sup.9 to about 10.sup.15 cells per cubic centimeter of the sheet, and the average size of the cells is less than about 10 microns. The invention also provides processes for the manufacture of articles which include a sheet of microcellular foam material as a component thereof.
