ABSTRACT:
A process is described for the production of a carrier web of a spun bond consisting of synthetic polyester filaments having a melting point of more than 230.degree. C and a filament titer of approximately 3 to 15 dtex. To this spun bond, a chemical binder is applied in the form of an aqueous dispersion which is dried at approximately 120.degree. to 220.degree.
