ABSTRACT:
An arrangement for storing the address of a processor unit that belongs to a device for on-line monitoring of a message transmission equipment is provided in which processor units are provided with respective storable addresses on the basis of an addressing procedure. In order to avoid a readdressing of all processor units upon a replacement of one processor unit, an E.sup.2 PROM in which the address of a processor unit can be stored is arranged outside of the processor unit in an insert that contains the processor unit.
