ABSTRACT:
An arm rest (1) for motor vehicle seats comprising a body (2) and a load bearing structure (4) provided with swinging mounting means relative to a connecting element (9) adapted to be fixed to a lateral side (F) of seat backrest (B). The load bearing structure (4) has a tubular end portion (5) coaxially rotatable on a stationary shaft (7) with rotational friction and with respective stop numbers (24, 13) between a raised position and a lowered position of the arm rest (1).
