ABSTRACT:
New arginine derivatives containing an N.sup..alpha. -alkyloxycarbonyl group of formula (I) ##STR1## in which R represents a linear or branched alkyl radical having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms, salts thereof, and mixtures of the derivatives and the salts.
A process for the preparation of these derivatives, salts, and mixtures and use of such derivatives, salts, and mixtures, especially in cosmetics. Compositions, especially cosmetic compositions, comprising the derivatives, salts, and mixtures.
